Migration Kit: Parental control software
Dennis Sellers for some time now has created Migrations Kits. Most of them have been aimed at particular vertical markets. His current one is aimed at those of us who want parental controls for our Macs.
Normally a Macsimum Migration kit is an overview of Mac OS X products for a particular occupation, such as dentistry, accounting, etc.
Here are some of the apps mentioned in this kit:
Bumper Car, a web browser for kids with parental control features.
Content Barrier X4 offers predefined categories that let users choose what they don’t want their children to see. Parents can also create their own custom categories.
GURL Watcher lets you take charge of what children, employees or other users are doing while they’re surfing online.
KidsServer PE is a personal edition of the web filtering software “KidsServer.”
