Zac is the first web browser developed specifically for children with autism, and autism spectrum disorders such as Asperger syndrome, pervasive developmental disorders (PDD), and PDD-NOS. They have made this browser for the children - for their enjoyment, enrichment, and freedom. Children touch it, use it, play it, interact with it, and experience independence through ZAC.
"ZAC Browser was inspired out of a deeply felt need of our own", said John LeSieur of People CD. LeSieur goes on to say, "In 2002 we were blessed with a beautiful grandson, Zackary. At an early age Zackary began displaying classic signs of a pervasive development disorder (PDD) and was diagnosed as severely autistic in 2005. We have the deepest love for our daughter and grandson and it is out of this heartfelt emotion that we used our talent to tailor a web browser specifically for Zackary and children facing similar development disorders of the brain".
