Alert - Web2delight Update
Fortunately, Joe Showker studies these things better than I do. He discovered that this software is at high risk for "adult" material and other objectionable content.
In last week's InfoManager we talked about Web2delight . Joe then sent this alert and warning to keep close tabs on its use. Joe writes:
When parental controls are turned off in preferences, the interface delivers "adult" thumbnails to user in ALL windows from ALL the sites. Even after re-enabling parental controls... LOTS of porn is still posted in thumbnails with BlipTV being the worst.
We definitely do NOT recommend this site for anyone with children in house or those otherwise not wanting to have porn thumbnails appear on their screen.

Whie there is a chance that these things will not appear if the parental control are engaged from the beginning, I agree with Joe and am sorry that I didn't investigate it enough for these things to appear. I have asked for a comment from Web2delight, but they have not yet responded to me.
