Graphic Calculator

By now you have probably heard one story or other about how a couple of guys wrote Graphic Calculator for the PowerMac when the PowerMac was underdevelopment at Apple.

My room mate from those days send me a link to the story. It wasn't exactly the way I remembered it being told back then, but stories can change. Both version agree that the two were not employed by Apple, but the middle managers thought they were.

Apple made a deal at the last minute to get it installed legally on their machines. They guys are still producing the software and have free viewers available at their web site.

Read the story here.
