The Digital Lifestyle
I have mentioned this site before, but they recently hit the one million minutes of viewed content benchmark.
The Digital Lifestyle web site was launched in late November 2007. It features 24-hour Apple news, rumors, and lifestyle. Of course, the problem with this type of service as with television networks is that they must repeat a lot of content in order to fill the time.
Some of the podcasts they feature are: MacBreak, MacMost, and The Digital Media Dude, with original shows, and live event coverage. The network provided live coverage of Macworld Expo, as well as the first live broadcast of Segway polo with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
"We have been thrilled by the reception from the Apple community," said Ryan Ritchey, founder of the network. He announced that live coverage will expand over the next two months, including "TDL Live" Mondays at 9PM ET/6PM PT, and live coverage will include the Apple Quarterly financial results, as well as surprise broadcasts. "We have some really fun broadcasts in store. Stay tuned," Ritchey said.
