NetNewsWire 3.1.1 is the latest version of my favorite RSS/Atom newsreader.
It uses a three-paned interface, similar to Apple’s Mail. It fetches and displays news from websites and blogs.
Features include:
A tabbed browser window.
Search your news items with a standard Apple search widget.
Downloads podcasts sending them to iTunes.
The flagged items feature lets you mark items that you want to keep.
Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) compatible, and includes Automator actions.
It includes a built-in categorized list of feeds that can be easily subscribed to.
REQUIREMENTS: Mac OS X 10.4 or later. (This was formerly shareware but apparently now is freeware.)
