Naked light is now a Public Beta. If provides non-destructive image editing. They have a tour at the web site.
In is "Node-based compositing. That is, it provides building blocks in a compositoin like images, filters and sets of brush storkes. The can be arranged in novel ways that layers can not. Once again there is a link for more information. This sounds real interesting for photographers.
