Lucerne Systems Announces Horizon 1.3

I have been looking for an easy to use financial program. This could be the one. It is based on a calendar, where you enter payment and income by date. Should make budgeting easy.

Lucerne Systems announced the immediate availability of Horizon 1.3, the latest upgrade to its ground-breaking personal financial management system. Version 1.3 includes 3 major new features and a host of smaller improvements.

"Three new features make Horizon even more compelling," said Iain Delaney, Lucerne Systems President. "The weekly view, category comments, and cell comments make Horizon even more useful and powerful."

Horizon's new weekly view lets the user zoom in on a particular week to see their finances in more detail. The weekly view provides room for more cells in different categories for those busy weeks with lots of transactions.

Categories permit users to organize their finances into whatever groups make sense to them. Adding comments to categories lets users be more expressive about their categories.

Smart cells are at the heart of Horizon, and they are its key feature. By adding comments to cells, users can now easily catalog and analyze their incomes and expenses, and allow them to collect different kinds of incomes or expenses under common categories, and separate them further by the attached comments.

Horizon comes packed with other features, including an automatically updated summary view, easy drag-and-drop expression creation, extensive on-line help, and a number of introductory materials.

Pricing and Availability:
Horizon 1.3 is now available for a retail price of $29.95 (US) through the Lucerne Systems web site. Current users can upgrade to the latest version for free.
