John Deihl, Sorenson Media, will demonstrate compression techniques using Sorenson Squeeze 4.5 Compression Suite to deliver content electronically for web, LAN/WAN, or CD/DVD. In addition, John will talk about Sorenson's new product, Squish 1.0, which embeds the power of Sorenson Squeeze into any Web page, allowing Web sites to easily accept user-submitted video.

Larry Jordan, Larry Jordan & Associates, will be sharing the following two presentations with us this evening: - "Secrets of LiveType You Never Knew" - "Unknown Final Cut 6 Techniques (a variety of short tips)"
ABOUT LARRY JORDAN
Larry Jordan is a producer, director, editor, consultant and trainer with over 25 years video production and post-production experience. He is currently using his award-winning skills in training editors to use Final Cut Pro, as well as producing live events for corporate and broadcast. He is also Creator and Editor-in-Chief of Edit Well, the Rich Media Newsletter for Final Cut Studio. A member of both the Directors Guild of America and the Producers Guild of America, Larry is a post-production consultant to Los Angeles broadcast and production studios. In addition to his broadcast credits, Jordan is recognized as one of the Top 100 Corporate Producers in America and is frequently featured as a speaker at seminars and user groups around the U.S.
As an Apple-Certified Trainer in Digital Media, specializing in Final Cut Studio, Jordan combines his extensive production experience with his teaching skills to bring a wide-ranging, real-world perspective to his classes. He was one of the first four Apple-Certified trainers in the U.S. to receive credentials as an "Advanced level" Final Cut Pro instructor.
Jordan also provides system design, training and support for Final Cut Pro editing systems. His designs range from single user project suites to network integration with multiple-user production studios. In addition to multiple training DVDs for Lynda.com, Jordan is the author of two books on Final Cut Pro, published by the Lynda.com imprint of Peachpit Press ("Hands-on Training for Final Cut Pro HD," "Hands-on Training for Final Cut Pro 5").
