Radioshift - 1.0.2
I heard about this on the Mac Break Weekly podcast. It is an easy download and provides the ability to find listen and record internet radio programs.
The latest version however was just released last Tuesday. It is a $32 shareware program. While it has limited features until you pay, you don't pay the fee until you decide it is worth the money.
There are over 50,000 radio programs available on the net from around the world. I have searched for the local NPR station and found their 4 hour stream. I also searched for Leo Laporte and found "The New Tech Guy". Here I thought he had been around awhile. It works with RealAudio, Windows Media, QuickTime, and MP3 streams.
I am going to see how well it records Your Mac Life next Wednesday. I am never able to catch the show live.
The biggest hang-up I see so far is that the files have to be manually dragged to iTunes so that they can be dumped to the iPod.
It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher for PowerPC or Intel machines.
