MyLifeBrand manages social networking

With the news that Facebook is valued at $15 billion after taking Microsoft as an investment partner, it is easy to see the importance of social networking and the impact it is making on the way businesses and communities communicate. To make social networking easier for users, MyLifeBrand is making some significant additions.

MyLifeBrand, the new social Web platform which lets users browse, manage, connect and syndicate their favorite social networks, communities, services and friends all from one site, announced today it has released a major system upgrade to their service, which includes improved blog features, public member profiles pages, deeper member search filtering, as well as searchable people data through Wink integration, a tool that delivers access to over 200-million social network profiles.

MyLifeBrand is introducing these major enhancements just several months after its move from Alpha to Beta. In order to further enable users to seamlessly manage multiple social networks and related "friend networks" from one site, the company has added Hi5 and Tagged to its portfolio of social networks across which a user can browse, manage, connect and message friends.

To enhance the personal tools aspect of the service, MyLifeBrand has improved the ability to search for both members with its own deep filtering capabilities and non-member through its integration with Wink (allowing access to over 200-million social network profiles). MyLifeBrand has also integrated a user-controlled IP mapping feature which lets members be identified more realistically on the community member map. Additionally, member profiles will be made public so that they are searchable and their content viewable without having to join MyLifeBrand.

In support of its community partners, MyLifeBrand has released new community creation tools which enable communities to auto-generate and manage blogs, forums, wiki's, calendars and other pages so that they can create a more comprehensive community experience for their members. This is already in addition to enabling the access to their members of their other social web pages from their community. Enabling such connectivity to a community and member's other social network pages is helping solve the ongoing problem being created by the dramatic growth of online communities which is enabling an inter-connected community versus enabling yet another 'walled garden' community that a member needs to find a way to manage among others. Additionally, community profiles will be searchable and browseable without having to join MyLifeBrand.

Finally, as its forth major service pillar, MyLifeBrand intends to soon launch a shareable Web widget which will revolutionize the way a member or community centralizes and shares their content across the web.

MyLifeBrand aims to be a single-stop social web platform for enabling users to browse, manage, connect and syndicate their online networks, communities and services across the Web.
