Trend Micro Announces Alliance with Intego
It is true that Macs don't have any active virus working on their systems. But now with the increase of the market share and the use of Windows on Mac systems the vulnerability is increasing. Thus Trend Micro announce that they will be distributing Intego's security software.
Trend Micro Incorporated made the announcement last week. They are one of the leaders in network antivirus and Internet content security software and services. With the rights to distribute Intego's Mac OS X security products they will be able to offer one stop shopping with corporate sites.
Beyond Apple's strong presence in the education, publishing and design sectors, Macs are becoming increasingly popular in other business environments. But Macs, like all networked computers, are at risk from viruses and malware, and require reliable protection. Intego's VirusBarrier X4 (endpoint), VirusBarrier Server, and VirusBarrier Mail Gateway, provide full protection from all known viruses. And administrators can easily use Remote Management Console to manage Intego software on any number of Macs on a network.
Intego Solutions Availability Intego VirusBarrier X4, VirusBarrier Server, VirusBarrier Mail Gateway and Remote Management Console are available now in North America from Trend Micro and distributors/reseller partners, and will roll out in other regions during the third quarter of this year.
