MacSurfer

I assume that most mac readers of this material already know about MacSurfer Headline News. But that might not be a valid assumption. This past week, MacSurfer when live with their latest update.

In fact, it is the first update that I can remember. This one adds tabs across the top to categorize the news. Apple, OSX, General Interest, How-to/Reviews, Op/Ed, Press Releases, Computer Industry and Finances.

I try not to use it much for the material in the InfoManager for the same reason that my professors used to say I couldn't use the encyclopedia for my term papers. That is what appears there is in to common knowledge. Of course, they also track stories on at least 24 other Mac web sites. They also offer a subscription that provides custom features.

But i do check it daily just to be sure that I am up on the "common knowledge."
