iToner: custom ringtones for your iPhone

Last week, Andrew Welch announced that his company Ambrosia Software has a new application for sale that allows you to add custom ringtones to your iPhone without hacking and only requires a simple "Drag, drop, and sync" routine.

iToner enables you to quickly transfer custom ringtones for your iPhone - without modifying, hacking or having to reset your iPhone. Simply drag and drop your MP3 or AAC audio files on iToner's window, click the Sync button, and you're done. Even better, your ringtones will continue to work with future iPhone OS updates!

iToner requires an iPhone of course and Mac OS X 10.4.10. It uses MP3 and ACC files, so any file in your iTunes library can be used. It sells for $15.

Download the trial version at the Ambrosia web site or buy it out right
