Seeqpod for streaming audio and video

Seeqpod is a new web site that streams audio and video files. They do this by doing a search for the files on the net and then streams them from that location. So they do not have to have any content on their site.

They use the term 'Playable Search'. This means that you can even imbed the link on your web site so that you can play the file as well. Of course, you need to be sure that your content is approved by your audience.

Currently in Beta, SeeqPod's first consumer site allows users by allowing to search and discover music and video all over the Web.

For example, my granddaughter entered "Cheetah Girls" and came up a list of their songs. After clicking the buttons that put a few of their songs. We tried the Discover button and got songs from Lindsey Lohan, Hillary Duff and other Disney artists.

It will be interesting to see if the RIAA will approve of this approach.
