We hae talked about altenatives to Microsoft Office a number of times here. However, PC World has presented an article that is probably the most complete that I have seen yet.
They cover both Mac and Windows alternatives and gives details about the pluses and minuses of each. For Windows, that includes Open Office, ONE Special Edition, Cell Frame Office Pro, ThinkFree Office, GoBeProductive and even Word Perfect Office.
For Macintosh, the list includes iWork, ThinkFree Office and Neo Office. they seem to think that Neo is the best of the alternatives. Of course we have talked often about alternatives to Word and even occasionally mentioned Keynote. Of course there are a few open source apps that are alternatives to individual components.
