E-mail on iPhone Used to Control Your Mac

By installing the iPhone Mail Rules on the Mac, it you can retrieve a file from your computer, or send a photo to your blog or to your iPhoto Library.

The mail rules are triggered by email messages you send from your iPhone to the computer you installed the rules on. Specific conditions must be met to activate the action.

1. The email message must be from the email address you specify.
2. The subject must begin with one of the installed commands.
3. The subject message must end with a 4-character security code you specify.

The rules that are available as part of the download are:
Add to Blog • Adds a photo taken and sent by your iPhone to your iWeb blog. (Works only with one web site.

Add to iPhoto • Adds photo taken and sent by your iPhone to your iPhoto library.

List Folder • Will send you an email with a list of the items in a folder.

Send Document • Sends you an email containing a document specified.
