Apple Not Alone

Last week we mentioned the question about the lack of an Intel Inside sticker on the new iMacs, but if you look at other personal computer manufactures, you will find that Apple is not alone in reducing its "Intel Inside" references.

Of course, Apple has never participated in Intel's advertising campaign and for several years even tried to convince us that Intel was inferior to the PowerPC chip. But other manufactures are reducing their use of that little blue & white sticker.

Of course, may PC makers have machines that have AMD processors inside. Others are starting to emphasize style and color instead of processor speed.
