Safari 3.0 Beta for Windows
Steve Jobs announced and Apple has made available, a beta version of Safari for Windows last week at WWDC. Since then, there have been a number of articles dedicated to determining why this decision was made.
One idea is that Apple makes $2 million+ each month off its Google searches and this could easily double that figure. Another is that Windows users will once again find an excellent alternative to a Microsoft product and the halo affect will increase Macintosh sales even more. Yet another that it is a way to help Windows developers actually develop Ajax applications for the iPhone.
My question is, why couldn't all these be correct? As well as a few reasons we haven't yet covered. All of these sound interesting to me. How about you?
