Adobe Digital Editions
People keep saying that digital books are the wave of the future. Adobe has introduced its Digital Editions for reading and managing eBooks.
Digital Editions works online and offline, and supports PDF and XHTML—based content as well as Flash SWF for rich interactivity. It is a free download.
I downloaded a copy of Huck Finn from Adobe's sample Library, but I wonder what is the point. The books are already in either PDF or XHTML format. So we have programs on or computers that can read them. As far as I can see the Digital Editions add is a way to keep all your ebooks in the same place.
On the other hand, I really don't know what Flash SWF is, so maybe that adds something.
