Mobile routers internet on the road...

WAAV, formerly Omniwav Mobile, is putting mobile cellular routers on the road... now users can access the Internet from their cars -- proven up to 100 miles per hour!

WAAV's AirBox has helped traveling professionals work wherever they are, instead of waiting to find a hotspot at a hotel, cafe or an airport. The AirBox allows them create their own secure mobile WiFi hotspot wherever they are!

Since 2005, WAAV has been helping families surf the web in their cars while traveling on the road. With a wireless laptop, kids download music, play online games, chat and do just about anything they would from their home broadband Internet connection.

The AirBox X2 is the first multiple connection cellular router. This is great for buses and mass transit that have many users.

Now, Airbox X3

Based on WAAV's popular WavBoard™ EV1, which was the world's first broadband router designed for vehicles (please bold this underlined sentence), the AirBox CM3 is engineered to maintain a broadband speed connection while in a moving vehicle.

The mobile router provides a connection similar to cable or DSL, and even allows multiple devices such as PDA's, laptops and gaming consoles to be connected online simultaneously.

Proven reliable at over 100 mph, users plug directly into the router using Ethernet or by connecting wireless via Wi-Fi. Even if the vehicle is stopped, the wireless connection will remain available up to 300' away. The CM3 is a wonderful alternative to traditional wireless routers, as you can use it indoors and as well as on the go.
