Mac's market share grows

According to The NPD Group, Apple's share of desktop and notebook sales online and through brick-and-mortar stores rose in May when compared to April.

Apple's share rose to 13% from 11.6% in April. This trend has been occuring for some time now. Apple's notebook sales rose to 14.3% of the market while destops barely increased to 10.4%. Of course, this does not include corporate sales. There Apple has also made some in roads according to other sources, but still nothing significant.

In May, the overall notebook market grew by 40% over May of the previous year.
Using the same comparison, Apple's sales increased 65%.
