Mac Plus vs. AMD DualCore

This is an interesting comparison. Just how much more can we do with a modern computer running Vista or XP compared to a MacPlus from 1986 running Macintosh System 6.0.8?

Hal Licino actually titled his article: "86 Mac Plus Vs. 07 AMD DualCore. You Won't Believe Who Wins"

He points out that it isn't just us baby boomers that are getting bigger. As the computers have gotten more powerful, the operating system has grown to use up that power. He has charts showing how the two computers stack up doing various jobs. Somehow I wonder how a DOS computer would compare against either. Are we really accomplishing more with all this power?
