Analog TV at Retailers
As most of you probably know, effective February 17, 2009 we will no longer be able to receive over the air broadcasts on analog TV. However, many people do not know and retailers have been instructed to put warnings on the TV sets.
So far, the FCC has cited CompUSA, Radio Shack, Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, Amazon, Sears, J&R Electronics and Fry's among other electronics outlets. So once again Buyer Beware!
For more information, call the FCC at 1-888-225-5322 (TTY: 1-888-835-5322) or visit the commission's digital television Web site at: www.dtv.gov.
