SuperCard 4.6
Yes, Supercard, the Hypercard clone is still available and working in Mac OS X as well as in Windows. Solutions Etcetera is the current owner. I remember using it 1989 when it was first to add color and it was almost as easy to use as Hypercard.

There is a Hypercard converter, so you can use stacks you made years ago. Of course, you might have trouble reading the 3.5" disks that were the typical storage media of the time.

The Developer Edition includes all of the Standard Edition components as well as SuperEdit, (used for editing scripts), TransMaker, the Internals Toolbox, and protected scripts in both projects and standalones for $279.00.

I've used Hypercard for years, until the new OS orphaned the wonderful program. But Supercard is not nearly as easy to use -- takes hours and hours to learn -- and has a HUGE learning curve

I've been both a Hypercard user and Supercard user for many years. For simple projects Supercard is not much different to Hypercard. Moving into full-blown applications, Supercard brings so many more capabilities that it does take longer to learn them all, but the results can be spectacular - it is worth the effort - and the user group is hugely helpful. If I had to choose one application I couldn't do without it would be Supercard.
