India working on $10 laptops

The OLPC project has had a goal for sometime of providing a $100 laptop for school children. However, the Indian government wants to do it even cheaper.

They have said that they have been able to get the cost down to $47 and are aiming for a $10 one. Even though the OLPC group has recently raised the goal on their machine to $175.
