Lesa Snider King, chief spokesperson for iStockphoto.com and image editing whiz, is this month's featured speaker at Luther Jackson Middle School, Falls Church, VA on Saturday, April 28, 2007. The meeting will be of interest to all persons who are involved in digital image editing or graphic design even though it is the April general meeting of Washington Apple Pi (WAP), the oldest and largest of the Macintosh user groups serving the greater Washington DC metro area.

Lesa is a regular for teaching graphics classes at MacWorld convention. She is a regular writer for the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, Macworld magazine, and Layersmagazine.com. As personal assistant for New York Times technology columnist David Pogue she serves as production editor and graphics designer for his Missing Manual series of books. She is also active member and webmaster for the Fort Worth Macintosh User Group (MUG), also known as the Cowtown MUG.
Meetings start with Question and Answer session, continue with breakout special interest tutorial sessions, reassemble for featured speaker, followed by raffle and adjournment. Members and guests are invited to join Lesa and WAP leadership for a buy-your-own lunch at a nearby eatery.
