Best Buy to get Apple Stores

CompUSA vs. Best Buy? Selling Macs? Here's what I found...

I predicted a couple of weeks ago that Best Buy would pickup the slack that CompUSA was providing with the closing of over half of their stores. Now, Best Buy currently is selling Macs in 57 stores, but they will be increasing that to 200.

Reportedly some of those will actually have Apple stores walled off from the rest of the products. This means a net gain of stores, of course it would have been a larger gain if CompUSA had been better at making the transition to a consumer electronics store from its computer super store days.

Hopefully this will include the Best Buy here in Fort Worth that is just across the parking lot from the CompUSA that is closing.
