Chasing the iPhone story

Now there are no less than three "unofficial" iPhone blogs, in addition to Apple's blog, and numerous news sources pumping out "news" about this yet nonexistent product! The biggest news this time is the proliferation of iPhone look-alikes from all the other companies. Here are just a few of the more interesting entries:

Survey sez Apple iPhone Set to Roil Telecom Industry

A new ChangeWave consumer survey shows the huge potential impact of the soon-to-be released Apple (AAPL) iPhone. Nearly one-in-ten Alliance respondents (9%) say they are likely to buy the new multi-function iPhone - a combination cell phone, iPod and Internet browser - when the product becomes available (3% Very Likely; 6% Somewhat Likely). Another 7% say they are likely to buy it for someone else. From: TechWhack
