iPhone could be the one...
Fred may have found the ultimate hand-held device...
You have probably long forgotten my "This Old Mouse" article back in October of 2004, (A PC in your Hand) where I ranted about "hand-held" fever -- or others where I note how the iPhoto iPod was getting very close to the gizmo I might buy some day.
I had ranted that none of the PDA devices really work for me... cell phones, palm tops, or iPods... that I pledged NOT to buy anything until someone figured out how to combine them all in the SAME device.
Well, the iPhone (aka: Apple Phone) might just be the one.
Except there's only one snag.
As I wrote in the Design Cafe Forum, I have a real problem with Cingular. (As do some of the other forum commenters.) Also see my blog posting The iPhone.
The iPhone (aka: Apple Phone) is very cool. VERY COOL. And, if they could just invent a way to make it work under Verizon or more reliable cell service providers, I think the price is well worth it. I'm in line to buy one!
Watch this iPhone Presentation via YouTube with Apple Inc.'s Phil Schiller... I think you'll agree!
And that's this old mouse's comment for today.
Thanks for reading
