Mac Savvy Clipboard
BlitzClick Software has released Savvy Clipboard 2.1, an update to its popular Mac OS X clipboard manager for PowerPC and Intel-based Mac's.
About Savvy Clipboard
Savvy Clipboard adds multiple Clipboard capability to Mac OS X by storing a list of items the user copied to the Clipboard. It facilitates copying and pasting repeated items, as well as storing frequently used fragments of data of various types. Also, it offers handy features for working with text fragments, passwords and email addresses, editing text items, and more.
Version 2.1 adds a new capability that will come handy for many users: Savvy Clipboard can now be used as a Popup Menu. It lets you save screen space and get the needed clipboard item by keyboard shortcuts.
As a result, you get additional flexibility and convenience:
- You can call the Popup Menu to select the needed Clipboard item quickly.
- You can hide the Savvy Clipboard window to save your screen space, and use the menu to get the needed items at any time.
- The Popup Menu is particularly handy when you want to paste some items while editing your text (message, document, code, etc.) just a few keystrokes, and you get the desired item. No need to take your hands off the keyboard!
- In the registered version of the software, the Popup Menu will contain as many items as you want.
For more information, see the product page.
Savvy Clipboard 2.1 is available as a download (716 KB) from www.blitzclicksoft.com/products.php.
It comes as a shareware version. Upon registration, the extended features become available (e.g., you can then edit clipboard text and specify how many clipboard items Savvy Clipboard -- as well as its Popup Menu -- should store).
For users of the previous version of this clipboard manager, the update is available for free.
