Use Adobe Illustrator as a 2D Cad Tool
Baby Universe, a company in Japan that develops third party software for Adobe Systems Japan, announced that they have started to sell CAD plug-in software for Adobe Illustrator for the overseas market.
"This will be a very exciting challenge for us" said Takanori Igarashi, the company's Chief Executive. "By doing this project, we expand our sight from the domestic market to the global market. We have increased our knowledge about what is needed outside of Japan, and we believe that we can provide a better plug-in solution."
Both plug-ins work with Adobe Illustrator CS2 and are designed for a wide range of users, from those who have never used CAD software to CAD professionals who engage in engineering, designing, sign making and mapping. The previous version of software has been used in more than 700 companies and organizations all over the world.
These plug-ins are shareware and affordably priced at US $90 and are available to be downloaded from the Baby Universe website (with a 30 use demonstration period).
Dimension tools
Indicates the measurements for all the objects and segments, such as vertical, horizontal, oblique and free curved lines. Also, the measurements of the segments that are intermixed with straight and curved lines can be indicated by this tool which will show the total measurements.
