BONO is enlisting companies to donate money to the Global Fund... "Painting the Town RED"
You probably already know about the big promotion Bono is leading to "Paint the Town Red" promoting "RED" products to bring attention to the world AIDS epidemic. The promotion aims to enlist companies to make RED products which donate a portion of the profits to the The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria -- three of the world's most devastating diseases. To date, the Global Fund has committed $5.2 billion US to more than 363 programs in 131 countries.

Apple has announced the iPod Nano RED Special Edition. (RED) was created by U2 lead singer, Bono and Bobby Shriver to engage business in the fight against AIDS in Africa by getting the world’s most iconic companies to make uniquely branded products.
The (PRODUCT) RED iPod nano comes in a beautiful red aluminum enclosure and features 24 hours of battery life, Apple’s innovative Click Wheel and an incredibly thin and light design. Apple will contribute $10 from the sale of each iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED to the Global Fund

If you already own an iPod, consider donating the $199 directly to the organization... doing this would be equivalent to purchasing 20 (PRODUCT) RED iPod nonos!
