Reston, VA, June 24...
Doug Troxell, cofounder and president of Intriguing Development, demonstrates the newest techniques for making scrapbooks using his iRemember software at Microsoft Innovation & Technology Center, Reston, VA on June 24. He'll show the Washington Apple Pi, the greater Washington DC area oldest Macintosh User Group's, members and guests the basics for scrapbook page design. Mr Troxell will also show how to use iRemember's Inspectors to incorporate parts or all of photos, add text, adjusting backgrounds, adding text, to create a perfect page. He will also show how to turn the virtual pages into hard-copy scrapbooks. A scrapbook page when viewed again in a year or decade instantly brings back the captured memory.
The meeting, held at the
Microsoft Innovation & Technology Center, 12012 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA, is open to the public. The gathering and social hour starts at 8:30 am. Three concurrent special interest meetings begin at 9:00. The iRemember featured event begins at 10:00 am. The meeting wraps up shortly after 11:30 am following Washington Apple Pi announcements and raffle. Members and guests are invited to join the Apple Pi's Board at Panera Bread at Reston Town Center, a two block walk from Microsoft, after the meeting.
