Cyber Crime / Identity theft presentation

The first presentation is "State of the Hack" by Ted Lindsey, a Computer Scientist with the FBI. He will discuss securing your home network and offer valuable computer and web surfing tips.

As a rare bonus, Mr. Lindsey will also demonstrate an actual hacking attempt by launching an exploit and taking control of a remote system.

"Identity Theft - What You Need To Know"

The second presentation is "Identity Theft - What You Need To Know" by Jay Foley, co-founder and Executive Director of the Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC). (www.idtheftcenter.org)

The ITRC is a recipient of the US Department of Justice's National Crime Victims Service Award and has received numerous federal, state and local commendations.

This free event is on Saturday, May 13, with the FBI presentation from 10 - 11:30am.

The ITRC presentation is from Noon - 1:30pm. Seating is limited.
Bottled water, soda and snacks will be available.
