Apple changes iPod accessory licensing fees
Apple changed its licensing fees for companies who make iPod accessories. Originally, Apple wanted a 10% fee to be recognized as an authorized accessory maker.
They have now agreed to a flat $4 per item fee.
Apple has told its accessory partners that they were going to go after companies that are not authorized to claim iPod compatibility.

I would wonder how they can really go after someone that advertises to work with MP3 players such as an iPod. It will be interesting to see how this goes.
