MacPeople of Gainesville, Florida area...
MacPeople was founded in 1985 to serve the people of Gainesville, Florida and the surrounding area who were devoted to Apple Computers and all things Macintosh. MacPeople is open to everyone from novice to pro.
Visitors and MacPeople members alike are welcome to attend the monthly meetings.
Beginner's Meeting starts at 6:00 PM followed by a general Q&A at 6:30. A few short presentations are given on topics of interest including our Public Domain choices for the month.
The Main Meeting begins at 7:30 PM. Every month our Main Meeting will present on a different topic of interest to Macintosh Enthusiasts.
The group believes in the importance of Users Helping Users. Macintosh Users having difficulty with a particular hardware or software issue have discovered answers to their questions at MacPeople Meetings. And there are usually a few Mac Gurus in attendance eager to help answer questions for their fellow Mac Users. The diversity of experience of MacPeople members keeps our User Group fresh and exciting. They are here to help educate, inform, discuss and just plain revel in the experience of being a Mac Person.
Besides the advantages of attending MacPeople Meetings (free and open to the public) where a variety of topics of interest to Mac Enthusiasts, MacPeople Members are available, you can enjoy a number of other benefits and resources.
