Braille on Mac … now you can print it!

Thanks to a collaboration between Index Braille AB and Sighted Electronics, you can now print files to the Index line of Braille embossers.

Install the Universal print drivers, and you’ll be able to print text from any application as contracted or un-contracted Braille — the iBraille Text to Braille translator automatically translates the text into Braille during embossing.

Later, Index Braille expects to release iBraille, a new Universal Braille Editor that will allow you to “format Braille documents and do full scale Braille production” on both PowerPC- and Intel-based Macintosh computers.
